We have over 7 years experience with sighthounds - Lurchers, Greyhounds, Whippets, Podencos and Galgos to name a few. We have grown to love these ancestral breeds, they hold a special place in our hearts, with roots tied deep in the Carnie heritage.
What we've experienced with our own hounds and volunteering with Greyhound Rescues is that not all sighthounds know how to respond with other breeds. We have some sighthound only walks each week (limited availability) but we always try to pair them with one other sighthound on a walk before introducing to other breeds.
That's why we also specialise in sighthounds, as we understand how different they are to other breeds and help them to make new friends, maintain their elite fitness and then go back to their average twelve hour roach on the couch. We slowly introduce them on walks with fellow sighthounds and then gradually other breeds as they feel more comfortable.
We provide every dog with a non restrictive, well fitting canicross harness and walk them on Canicross/Cani-hiking belts, connected to us via cani-hiking bungee leads. So you can rest assured we have good control over your dogs at all times. We also provide each dog with a collar and tag with all our details on for those emergency situations.
Each of our walks is an 90 minutes of fun, engagement and various locations. The dog would most likely be with us for 2 to 3 hours including collecting the dogs and giving them a lovely wash down after their adventure before returning home.
Don't you hate it when you return home and the dog runs around leaving a trail of mud everywhere, and worry about the risks of possible diseases that may come from muddy areas. Well we believe in looking after your dogs as if they were our own and we always ensure we wash as much mud off our dog's paws and bellies as possible. Plus there is often that additional eau de toilette of fox that all dog's love and no one likes that on the furniture.
Each walk is charged at £22 a walk which is a minimum 90 minutes of walking (plus extra time out with us collecting their friends and dropping them home)
If you book 4 walks within the same month, walks are discounted to £19 a walk.

Unfortunately we do not walk dogs under 12 months old due to the distance and pace of our walks
